When using Misty to stream audio and video from her local streaming server over RTSP, the audio playback in your streaming client may be very delayed or distorted, or, in some cases, may not work at all. We’ve identified the root cause, are actively working on a solution, and expect to release a fix soon.
Just FYI for people, the issue is that the reported audio sample rate to the client is different than the actual sample rate, this is why it’s delayed and distorted. To the client it always reports 32000Hz whereas the default recording sample rate is 44100Hz. So the client is playing the recording at slower speed than it was recorded.
Thanks for the explanation!
Update: Misty’s 2020.03.25 System Update resolved this issue.
